The Road; My Tutor!

Someone once said, “Trust the road, and it’ll take care of you”.

It has been 3 years since! And each time I see the white dotted lines winding into nothingness, I tell myself that all that I do is actually for this binge. My every move in life is to travel that extra mile, and the happiness I feel just piles up as smiles.

To experience the untold, to unravel and to unfold!

Some may consider this a life of insignificance, one that is almost out of focus. But when I see those roads traversing into bylanes of memories, it is only then I realize that the seconds and the minutes hand on the watch is not what governs my mind. It is in the uncanny silence of volcanic mountainy settlements where I find myself. It is on the edges of bottomless lakes, that I feel refreshed. It’s in the history of a 2500 old castle that I can hear the music. It’s the abandonment behind the bars of a jail that teaches me to feel pain. It’s a painting from an impressionist painter that tells me what is the difference in not being the same.

I have had one teacher, who I turn to when I am in doubt. It’s the road and it has all the answers!

The more I travel, the more I know, that I am a beginner to this show. This show, this stage, this audience called ‘life’.

I am counting sheep, driving this invisible jeep, and there are miles to go before I sleep!
